A little bit about us – The association was formed in 1996 by a small group of players who aspired to reach the world championships in Go Our goal was and remains to promote the Go game as a sport in Israel, to develop strong players and increase the familiarity with the game We hold competitions, support weekly Go clubs, send players to international tournaments and many more
We at the Israeli Go Association are always happy to help new and old players in the enjoyment of Go, feel free to talk, ask questions and also make suggestions – that’s why we’re here
